Can not change email address

I've followed the steps required to change my email address several times and each time it say I'll get an email to my new address with a link I need to click to validate that address. Well I never get an email to my new address, but I do get one to my current address informing me of the email address change.

Does it matter that the new address is at a "me.com" domain?

Have you checked your spam folder. I forget to and often get email in mine that is not spam.
