650 neck. ONce you start one shooting discipline it usually leads to more. You may be loading 9 40 45, 308, 223, etc. So bite the bullet and buy the best.

I hear ya Rbelote...

I've heard the square deal referred to as the "raw deal"

I'm oscillating between the 550 and 650, I know well respected shooters (such as yourself) that like each....that makes it tough...I know Cliff prefers his 550

My biggest issue is I have only a small table to mount it on...

The auto index of the 650 concerns me some....auto indexing was one of the main causes of a almost major FUBAR I had with a 38 special squibb load....The Lee Turret got "neutered" right after I pounded the bullet back into a loaded revolver cyl....not fun at all.

I've been anal about visually inspecting each case for powder since then....since the 550 has no auto index it might be what I end up with.

I need to load a few rds on one of these Dillion beasts is what I really need to do.

Who wants to let me do a test drive? big thumb up

I'm sure there are others closer, but you are welcome to run mine here on the coast!
