What would you say a used beretta 92fs in about 95% condition is worth?

My opinion only - lots of people to sell their used guns at an inflated price. On several forums I visit I frequently see members trying to sell their guns for more than they go for new online. It makes me wonder what they must have paid for them new.

Brand new, a 92fs sells all day at Bud's for 563. Sure there's transfer fees, maybe shipping, etc. but most people won't pay near the new price for a used firearm. I'd suggest 450 to start. I paid 500 for my stainless 92fs from a gun store about 6 years ago.

My brother bought one new for $600 new at a gun show, stopped by Bass Pro that afternoon and they were $550.

I wouldn't pay over $450 for a used one, lightly or heavily, it's still used. I'm not a beretta 92 fan anyway.........now the px4 storm I like...can't hit jack with any of the 92fs's I've shot

I gave $400 for mine very slightly used several years ago. I probably wouldn't pay over $450 now for a used one. The beretta 92 is a very accurate and very reliable handgun, never had a single issue with mine. I like it, definitely not my favorite semi-auto but I can shoot it probably better, but not faster, than any other one I own. Same goes for the Taurus pt99 I got too, very similar to the Beretta other than the frame mounted saftey/decocker which I prefer a little more than the slide mounted one on the Beretta and a little cheaper also, but still a very good handgun. Hard to go wrong with either one. Just my 2 cents though.

I dunno. Sorta like folks around here saying you shouldn't have to pay more than $375 to 400 for a Glock 26, even though I've never seen a decent used one go for less than $450 and they were few and far between. I've never seen a 92FS advertised locally for less than $500 to 550. Now, all Ive seen were in excellent condition, but I think one would be hard pressed to find one for $400, unless it was from a very close friend who was in a bind. $450 might be doable, but even that might be tough. I think most guns stores would give 4 bills for one in 95% condition, knowing they would turn a decent profit on it.

An FYI - just received weekly e-mail from CDNN:

92FS Italian Mfg
9mm Matte Blue, 2-15 rd hi-cap mags, 3-dot sights - $519.99, was $625

That is all - carry on Smile
