Ernie Blackburn 1911's

Cabela's Gun Library has a 1911 Colt Ernie Blackburn Custom. I have never heard of Ernie Blackburn and googling there is very little except for a few of those 1911's for sale. My questions are, who is Ernie Blackburn? Are Ernie Blackburn Customs true customs like say Wilson, or are they 1911 Colt GI's with a few parts switched out etc? If they are really "Custom" what makes them so.

I havent ever even seen them mention here on the forum. Maybe some of you know.

Wilson is a bad example, they are semi-custom.

Seems like I've heard the name dropped on 1911forum.com but can't swear to it
