NRA Sweepstakes
NRA 32 Gun Grand Prize. Just wondering, did y'all get an application yet, and what did you pick?
1st:
Benelli MR1 Pistol Grip, 5.56X45mm
Bushmaster Optics Ready Carbine, 5.56X45mm
Colt MT6700 heavy barrel 20", 5.56X45mm
Benelli Montefeltro Shotgun, 12 ga.
Browning High Power Standard, 9mm
Heckler and Koch HK P30, 9mm
Kimber Tactical Ultra II, 45ACP
Colt single action Army rev., 45 Colt
S&W Model 49, 44 Mag
S&W Model 500, 500 S&W
2nd:
Browning BLR Lightweight '81 Takedown Rifle, 30-06
Henry Big Boy, 44 Mag
Remington Versa Max, 12 ga.
Browning Hi Power Mark III, 9mm
Sig Sauer Sig 220, 45 ACP
Heckler and Koch HK P2000, .357SIG
Springfield Armory 1911A1 SS, 45 ACP
S&W Model 15, 38 Special +P
3rd:
Marlin 1894C, 357 Mag
Kel Tec KSG, 12 ga.
Stoeger Condor, 12/20 ga.
Bushmaster Carbon 15, 9mm
S&W Model 586, 357 Mag
Taurus 44 Tracker, 44 Mag
4th:
Browning T Bolt Composite Sporter, .17 HMR
SIG Sauer Sig 232, .380 ACP
Beretta Stampede Old West, 45 Colt
S&W Model 632, .327 Fed. Mag
5th:
Beretta Nano, 9mm
Taurus Judge, 45LC/410 ga.
6th:
Stoeger Model 3000, 12 ga.
7th:
Henry US Survival, 22LR
Bold are guns I would like to have to fill certain catagories. 3rd place would probably give me one gun in almost every category that I want one in. AR 15 type, 44 mag, lever action pistol round, KSG, over/under 12 ga, and of course, any 357's. 4th place doesn't interest me nearly as much, and I hated having to choose the Stoeger over the SP101 (since I already have one) in 6th place. Of course, the Grand Prize would take care of most of my "problems", lol.

Re: NRA Sweepstakes
I don't enter sweepstakes and such (like when you buy something at Home Deport and your receipt gives you a chance to win something if you fill out a questionnaire).
All they are doing is getting your email address and phone number to bombard you.
I also suspect that whoever wins (IF anybody wins) has some kind of inside connection.
But if you win, let us know.

Lol, I don't bother with most. But the 30 mins or so of looking up the guns and deciding which I wanted was kind of fun. And they already have my email, nothing's going to save me from those anymore. Even if the Mug (10th Place) showed up, I'd be highly surprised, but figured the only work I put into it was pretty fun, might as well send it. Besides, I'm still waiting on my wife to get a call from UMMC since her computer was used to look up 60 or so guns, lol.
Was just hoping someone else did it, just to see what they picked and maybe a discussion about which and why.
Besides, I'm young and hopeful (not Obama's hope though), not to mention desperate. My only real hope is that enough people throw it away, and some glitch happens to call my number up. The best part would be trying to explain to the apartment owner how "just a few" guns turned into 30 or 40. Hopefully we would be in a new house by then, or I wouldn't tell a soul they were in the apartment. Probably wouldn't anyways, but y'all might catch on when a bunch show up for sale on here so I could pay taxes and buy a safe.

I filled my out. It is painless and only cost a stamp. For a stamp the return is pretty high if you win something.
