Thanks, but I replaced that 642 with a new plain jane one. My little sister saw it, and requested I leave it to her in my will LOL. I didn't wanna wait till I croaked, so it's her BUG now, gave her a S&W 469 for her main carry ( she lost all her stuff in Katrina)...can't have my Lil' sister going around "gunless".

I am looking for a small .38 now. I wouldn't mind a Smith but they are a bit pricey. I have another auto I am trying to trade.

No, but it is a .45. It is a Glock 30.

I'm not up on all the different model numbers, is that the new little single stack? I got rid of all my Glocks and XDs ( shot 1911s more), but I've been considering one of the little .45 compacts. Liked the pics of a single stack I saw on another forum.

It is the double stack. It has 2 10 round mags and 1 13 round extended mag. That 13 rounder is actually the mag for the model 21. It is the same size as the single stack 36, just wider.

Sweet, just checked out the ad...I don't have enough posts to do the classifieds yet though.

Or you could give me one or two and you wouldnt have 13 anymore. I know it sounds hard to deal with but this is the difference between an asteroid hitting your van or not

I carry a glock 26 in an MTAC holster, it's a very comfortable set up.

Silenthillz how u like that RIA??? Been thinking bout a cheap 1911 and it's between the Taurus or RIA...Anyone want to chime in on what's the better waste of money.....just cant wait for a SA TP so for now....

Got 2 Tacticals and love em' powerstrokin. They're hard to beat for the money, and mine run like a champ. They don't have the fit and finish of a Colt, but they don't have the Colt price tag on em' either.

Haven't had to use it yet, but customer service is great...they even have a rep. on 1911.org. Never shot wadcutters in them, but they eat everything else I've fed them. Runs just as good as any of my other 1911s, and I don't hesitate to stake my life on it. One had a cheapie mag., but a Wilson47 replaced it, and now has zero FTF.

It work I carry a Glock 22 and a Keltec 32 for back up.

Well if you havent gotten another 1911 I guess a asteroid did hit your van cause its smoking haha.
