I cannot wait for this rifle. I just hope it comes in Black rather than only s**t turd brown. Atleast the turd brown is even all over the rifle. The SCAR is mismatched and looks crappy for the price most ask for it. They say the release date is First Half of 2010. Hopefully by my Birthday in June, prices will have calmed down.

Well it seems the MSRP for these are going to be super high. For the Basic version the MSRP is close to $2700 and for the Enhanced version the MSRP is $3060. Even with dealer cost the rifles will probably cost the customer $2300-2700+ They can keep their heavy (8.2lb) MIM plastic rifle for that much. They haven't OFFICIALLY released a price but those MSRP's are listed in their newest newsletter. Cool gun but, they really have dropped the ball.

Give 'em some little time -- the price will drop ... I suspect that after the first year, you will be able to pick them up for much less .. only time will tell.

Man I said the same thing about a FN SCAR...but the prices have not come down.....

It will be a while...My next "battle weapon" is gonna have to be in 308 caliber and I don't think the ACR comes in anything but the smaller stuff...
