Got to do this -- I guess if I sell off evrything I own, I can buy ONE (1)!!
I see a lot of EoTechs on those things -- they work pretty well on FA fire? Liked the UZI with that 50 rd clip - looks like 50 rounds?? Have one of the early import carbine (Model A) ....

We burn through some ammo, but we have a good time. I own three EOTechs and I like 'em a lot. I don't see their value at much over a hundred yards although you'd be fine at two hundred. They absolutely shine on a subgun at short range. CARDs, (Cheap Ass Red Dots), wash out in the cloudless desert sun and it's very tough to pick up the dot. You usually get what you pay for and the EOTech is very bright and worth every penny I paid for them.
I think that Uzi magazine is closer to 60 rounds. It's actually a pair of 32 round factory mags that have ben welded together. The USA brand 50 rounders simply don't work.

That looks like a lot of fun. I could get into that if I could afford the ammo.

The total number of targets were 23. If a shooter's weapon and skill allows them to pull singles, (the gun's selector must be set to full auto), and they defeated each target with a single tap, then the two courses of fire would have required no more than 46 rounds to neutralize. Many shooters spent in excess of 50 rounds going for the sweep. I'd say the high ROF weapons easily burned 100 round each run.
Each shooter had the option of sweeping the bowling pins with a continuous pull of the trigger to earn five seconds off their total time. It's not as easy as it sounds or looks in the videos. I know many people used in excess of fifty rounds on the pins which had to be cleared off the table to be neutralized. Simply knocking them over didn't score the bonus. Each shooter had to base their decision on whether to go for the sweep on their magazine capacity and their skill. You could easily burn up the five second bonus if you had to change mags. Risk versus the reward had to be weighed in a shooter's decision on whether or not to go for the sweep.
It IS fun! Most of us aren't rich, we just drive old beater cars, live in shacks, and eat Top Roman noodles and Vienna sausages. Our kids go barefoot. Full auto must be like crack... you'll sell your soul for ammo.SJ wrote:That looks like a lot of fun. I could get into that if I could afford the ammo.
I'd be happy to take any MS Shooter out for a little trigger time if they make it out to La Vegas. In the mean time, contact SubGunFan locally and I'll bet he'd be more than willing to share his nice collection of subguns.3spop wrote:Those pics give me ideas of where to go on my next vacation.

VegasSMG is one of the nicest guys you will meet. And YES, those guys in Vegas put on some FUN shoots. I guess in addition to driving BEATERS and going BAREFOOT, they might win a little "ammo $$$" in the casinos......
"CARDS".... Hey, I resemble that....
But VegasSMG is correct, the higher $$$ dot-optics do have brighter (and clearer) dots. I get by with my CARDS, but I do have to find the dot sometimes.
Oh YES..... another trip to Vegas is on my "to do" list.... Maybe this year..........

Yep, that's him! If he can't neutralize it with his Uzi, he'll clean things up with his knife...
