Yep
sent my app and $ in today
Don't miss this great opportunity to improve your shooting knowledge and skills....You know have a chance to really help out at the local matches...our RO's work their asses off and they shoot as well...We need to be able to assist when called upon.
I get the feeling these are hard to schedule and we need good participation.

Everyone that can make this should. It will help your shooting more than you know, plus the sport benefits with your expanded knowledge.
John, the local match director said he plans on attending update himself on the rules. If I'm in town I will be there also. I last attended that class in 1991.

One last reminder that if you are interested in attending the Level I RO school to be held in Jackson on Feb 20-21, please contact Hank Stern ASAP. Even if you don’t plan to ever run the timer at a match, having the knowledge you’ll gain from this class will make you a better shooter. You can reach Hank at hstern@bcdgeo.com

Re: Heads UP - Date is Feb 20-21
Going to try to make it. Sent PM to 'Neck and email to Hank.
What firearms will you be shooting (sounds like a girl asking what everyone else is going to wear to the dance).
I don't have target pistols but do have a 19, 22, 229 and M9.
In revolvers, I have a 66 & 64 in 4". Have a few six inch 357 (I'll be shooting .38's). Everything else is snubbies and small auto's.
Never shot this, thus the question in case someone is still up. Where is the class and shoot?
thanks

Sid, pm me your email address and I'll send you what I have for info on location etc.
You will have to join USPSA to take the class...so be prepared to pay those dues as well...can be done Sat am during a late signup.
Location is at John Heiter's office in BYram....bright an early Sat am 7:30....ABSOLUTELY NO GUNS SATURDAY classroom time
Range Time TBD probably Sunday 7 am at Magnolia Rifle and Pistol
The Range time is so that you can actually do some RO'ing...its hands on....100 rds max probably one course of fire
Sid I'd bring a production class semi and all the mags and mag pouches I had....

Re: Heads UP - Date is Feb 20-21
Well the classroom portion of the RO class was quite good.
Well attended...Think we have about 25 in there
Learned quite a bit. Gave me a new appreciation for what the RO goes through.
Scoring is gonna be a challenge for a while...I've never paid much attention to scores...I just try and shoot safe
Sunday is the live fire part of the course...Hang in their Sid...It would have been better for you to have been to a couple matches before taking the class...but you'll be fine...
If you could take part of this class and combine it with some introductory shooting of stages ...It would make a hell of a class for the entry USPSA shooter
