Bubbat, if you don't mind me askin, what are those going for? My son has been bugging me for that S&W M&P 15-22, but at $430, it's out of my price range at the moment.

It was $395 at Academy Sports, but I saw an ad that Gander in Hattiesburg had them on sale for $299 starting this past Monday, wall bash

but I don't know if they are still going for the sale price.

I just threw a scope on it and bore sighted it before we all shot at Neck's place, didn't even try sighting it in since I had a red dot ordered for it( that just came in Sat.) just shot it to see how it functioned. Was on paper, couple inches right and inch low just bore sighting. Will mount up red dot and get back to range and get serious about sighting in.

Kind of like the joke "Got a new rifle for my wife. It was good trade!" I'm all for appeasing ones significant other, as mine has been good about my hobby/addiction.
