Question about this shooting comp..
I've been watching alot of videos of a guy named todd jerrett i think...he's shooting the same thing that yall shoot i have a question.. do yall all shoot reloads with less powder than production target ammo to cut down on recoil and allow for quicker second shot..? just curious because watching him shoot it looks like his gun isn't even kicking much and when i see him rack his gun to get a bullet in the chamber he dose it with 2 fingers from under the bottem of the pistol and it looks effortless like somethings broke on his gun whats the deal with that??

Re: Question about this shooting comp..
Yes, Todd shoots USPSA.
We do load for less recoil, and also install recoil springs to balance the guns.
Having said that, if I'm pressed for time and can't get to the reloading bench, I just shoot factory ammo and don't give it a second thought.

Re: Question about this shooting comp..
Todd is very fast and good at the game. His gun is all custom built for competition as well. He shoots all the best as you can probably figure out. You should go to a local match and shoot just to see how it is. Sorry, but you'll be hooked when you do.
Dont just watch, Go do it.
BTW, I shoot factory ammo all the time in my Production 9mm Glock.
