Local get togethers, Meet and Greets, etc.

MSGO is an organization for the gun owners of Mississippi. There is no need to ask approval to organize local get togethers. Doesn't matter if it is a few members gathering at a range, having a back yard bar-b-q, meeting for dinner somewhere, or hosting a local meet and greet. I know some of our members can't make the Annual Meet and Greet in the Jackson area, so local or more regional meet and greets would be great.

We want you folks to get together in safe, friendly environments. Invite your non-firearms enthusiast friends! Bring your spouse, your kids, your significant other. Get folks involved!

The only things we ask are that:

You assemble peaceably and in a legal fashion.
You try to keep the event "Family Friendly" ... i.e. not at the local nudie bar
You take pictures and post them in our gallery so everyone else can enjoy your fun!
Please remember that if you assemble as MSGO members, you're in essence representing this forum/community. Please put your best foot forward and promote a positive image of MSGO members and gun owners as a whole.

If things go according to plan, I hope to have a statewide Meet and Greet every year in the Jackson area, hopefully at a nice range/venue such as Magnolia. Local meet and greets would be great for those who may not be able to make it to the statewide event. If local M&G's are held, I will try to attend if possible, if yall will have me!!!
