NE Members / Eat & Greet 3/27/10 Sign-In

Let's see how many members we have. Maybe we can put together some things.

Alcorn, Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Clay, Itawamba, Lee, Loundes, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo, Union, and Webster.

If enough members in a county could be something as simple as a monthly Eat and Greet at someplace everyone likes in that county. Nobody having to drive alot is a plus. BTW 2 members is enough to get it started.

Looking to put together a Tishomingo County Eat & Greet in March. Thinking of Norma's Country Cupboard in Iuka. Saturday at 1100 hours with the date to tbd.

I know of 4 members, Alpo, Kilroy, Walke and myself.

We can't plan much for the counties or the NE without knowing how many and in what county.

Any member would be welcome to anything planned. If you show up after we eat you can come on back to the poor house for some guntalk. It would be on your way home.

Rats, I forgot Norma is closed Saturday. And Sunday there is a mad house.

Would it be ok with everyone if it was Martha's Menu in Corinth [Alcorn County].

Could set it up to have a private room for all to talk and chow down.

March 13th, 20th or 27th, all would be fine with me.

Don't worry we have the ok from the club I belong to. Putting together a day of shooting with maybe some training thrown in if we get enough NE members that's interested.

Note: Anyone from MSGO is welcome to attend. We are all together. Hammer said he would like to see some regional activities also. Since some can't make the trip to the Meet and Greet in the central part of the state.

Sounds like a plan. The extent of my shooting thus far has been in a sandpit plinking bottles and silhouette targets (staples to plywood) with my old 1911 (I miss it *tear*). Never been to a proper "range" but would love to give it a go.

I cannot make it on 13th of March (Got a Bass Club tournament) but am free on the other two dates as far as things go right now.

SGMJody, PM jbpmidas, he was at my place today. Maybe can work it to ride together since both are in Amory. He's young so go easy on him...lol... great guy btw.

With two possible dates one has to be good for almost everyone. Also gives more time for others to see the thread.

Been in pm contact with jbpmidas already. Once the date and location is set, we'll probably ride together.

March 27th will be good for me. SGMJody, if you want to ride, that sounds good to me!

Don't know where to put this, so I'll put it here. I gave out another MSGO card today. I was talking to a lady about how much business cards were (as that is her business) and showed her what one of the cards looked like. She asked me what I liked to shoot and I told her. She said her and her husband love skeet shooting and we talked about getting together to shoot. I gave her the card so hopefully she and her husband will join. That might be a good meet and greet event, skeet shooting in Starkville or Tupelo. I may go talk to her some more about putting something together.

The possibilities are only limited by our $$$$ and time for us all to have some serious fun.

Any ideas are welcome. Might not be something for everybody. Like Riverbilly said, "me and you is 2" thats the definition of a MSGO get together.

Well, if 2 is enough, then we have already had one meet and greet that I know of!
