Welcome - now there's three of us in Greenville. I'm from that era, but never was a hippy. I did live in the Tenderloin District in San Fran for awhile, but I was gone by the time the Haight Ashbery District got on the map. It was yuppified & then declined back into it's old ways. I was more of the Beat generation, NYC. I grew up in Greenville. How I ended up back here is a story unto itself. Beladran has no love for this place, but he's young & has no memories of what it was like when it was still segregated. No disrespect, Bel - I understand where you're coming from.

Nevermind, welcome to the forum, old hippy.. It's a good place to hang out, talk guns. Many knowledgeable people here.
