Have not tried 2.5 BE yet...gotta get time to load

3.0 is a pussycat in a 686 so 2.0 ought to barely roll out of the barrel

Thanks for the suggestions guys

I just loaded 200 100gr 38s with 2.5 BE and they are fun to shoot out of my LCR.

I use the Lee Autodisk...The smallest disk at the smallest hole is .30...which throws 2.8 BE....guess that is where I'll stop...dang it

My rcbs would only throw 6grs of BE. So i used a 270 caseing to use as my trickler. Got to looking around my room and found a old lyman powder thrower. Micro adjustment too. 2.5 grains all day long. Very little variations.

Man I'd hate to have to trickle charge 300 - 400 rds

I have another powder thrower around if I can get it to be consistent...the wipers had a tendency to "float on me"

The old auto disk has always been very dependable and consistent...if I had an extra small disk....I could try and fill the hole in with something till I got it throwing 2.0 - 2.5 but I'm not sure its worth the effort.
