What you have to look for is their other listing. He has a pmr for 550.00 it is located in Hattiesburg the other is in "Mississippi". New Springfield m1a for $850.

Ok,why is this a scam? The Mississippi, Mississippi could just be a typo, or am I missing something else?

Hmm I don't get it, what is the scam...what's a PMR... $850 for an M1A does sound too good to be true which in my mind = it is.
More details please as to why this is a scam?

The PMR 30 doesn't show up under his listings. Just a Springfield Armory MC Operator.

I emailed for info on the M1A. The response was broken English, and he claimed he was located in Canton, OH.

Edit: here is the reply:

"Hello

Thanks for your response to my listing,it is still available and its in 98% condition, the price is lesser because i am in a terrible money issue so i can let go anything at a cheaper price just for it to be resolved but its a pity i will have to lose her..Where are you located,i am currently Canton, OH."

This guy post all the time, his deals are always too good to be true, I emailed him.one day, could never get him to send a phone number or anything to actually speak with him. He just wanted a western union money order and he would ship.the gun.. No thanks...

If it dosent have a actual ms town listed I dont mess with it..
He had a wilson combat cqb a few weeks ago brand new for $850... No one is selling a 3k plus gun for 850.....

Most times you see State,State it is a scam. They do this in all states just look around. See it a lot with high demand items like SCARS, Tivors, m1a, etc

for example http://www.armslist.com/posts/1830796/texas-rifles-for-sale--fnh-scar-17s-new-in-box-never-fired

etc..
