Question for Doug on Swiss rifles
Doug; I'd like to draw on your knowledge please.
If you could only have one, and the overall condition was equal, would you rather have the Swiss 1931 (K-31) or would you go with the Schmidt-Rubin 1911? This will be a shooter at our monthly ViMBAR matches, but I don't want to discount any future collector appreciation with my decision. Is one inherently more accurate than the other? How about durability and dependability? Anything I need to look for?

Thanks for your time sir!

I have owned both. I now own a K31 and I believe it to be as accurate as the 1911 series. It is also stronger than the 1911 because the locking lusg on the bot are in the front odf the receivver when locked up. Reload for it, the ammo is high.
