Muzzle Brakes...

Post by nonnieselman on Tue Mar 09, 2010 10:51 am

Does anybody know anything about Muzzle Brakes?
Im goin to be shooting my .270 alot and after a day of shooting my shoulder is feeling the pain.

Theres a ton of different stuff out there, Basically i want to eliminate Recoil being number 1.. Noise doesnt bother me since i always wear ear protection.

Mr. Billy in Utica has his own brake. Works very well.

You ought to he's a real nice guy. My dad had a 7mm wthy mag that he try to shoot but it was just to much. Put the brake on it and tamed it down a ton.

Brake tames them but wear hearing protection. I shot a 33 .378 and could not hear for about 3 hours. Stupid, I know.

Dont worry,, i learned my lesson shooting a M4 out of my truck that had a MiniY compensator.. DUMB..

I wear ear muffs and sometimes plugs and muffs all the time when i shoot even .22s.

Eddybo is goin to do some looking for me. Hopefully in a couple weeks ill have a report for you guys. Cant wait!
