My 10/22 Liberty Training Rifle
Here are some pics of my Ruger 10/22 that I have been building up as a "Liberty Training Rifle". It has a Hogue replacement stock, Tech-Sight peep sights to simulate military-style iron sights, a Volquartzen target hammer, 4-10 rd mags, a Wilson Combat bolt buffer, and a USGI web sling with 1 1/4" sling swivels. I built it up for Appleseed shoots, but it looks like I will be helping to staff them so it might become a loaner rifle for some poor soul whose own rifle won't behave. I tried to model it after a loaner rifle I borrowed from the Shoot Boss when I did Appleseed in Canton in October 2009.

I like it! If I was to modify my 10/22, I would definitely look into something along those lines!

Thanks! Future modifications will include an auto-bolt release and probably an extended bolt handle. I am also considering an extended mag release, but since it is a new model it "kind of" already has one.
Sadly, I haven't even gotten to shoot it since adding the target hammer. I need to get back out to the range!!
