long slide Glock
Hey guys. I've been looking at the Glock G34 (long slide 9mm) for a while now and I think I "need" one. Anybody have any experience with them or know where a fellow could pick one up for relatively cheap? Any information regarding your experiences with the G34 would be greatly appreciated.

You just missed one forsale on here. Good gun you'll love it. Unless you want a 17L it's got a 6" barrel.

The 34 and 35 were actually set up for IDPA. The dimensions by no coincidence are to fit in the box for determining max. size for a pistol. They are good shooters and use the same frame as the 17 and 22 respectively.

Re: long slide Glock
Is the 17L still being manufactured by Glock? If so what are the major differences between the 17L and 34 other than barrel length? Does the 17L have the same lighter trigger that the 34 has?
I can't seem to find a lot of 17Ls for sale. Gunbroker only has one.

THe only difference is the barrel length. The 17l isnt production legal either if you decide to shoot comps.

Do you have any idea what it went for? Used 17L prices seem to be pretty steep. From what I can tell they are no longer being manufactured. That's not going to help prices on the used market either.

17L sell for about $650 roughly. I saw a new one in Academy as well. I have seen the 24 in .40S&W as well, but not many. it has the 6" barrel as well.
