Thanks all, well roe deer are small but they are not the only species that Scotland has to offer. If anything its not the top game species. Scotland is the home to red stag, its the most popular animal to hunt and thousands of foreigners (especially Americans) come to hunt up in the Highlands for big brutes.

Unfortunately red stag are only found in the Highlands which is about a 7 hour drive for me.

There is also sika and fallow deer with a lot of different small game and bird species to hunt too.

Sorry but yall are asking me things that I really don't know. My friend is a big time hunter and owns a lot of guns, when it comes to firearms I am not so savy compared to bows and bow hunting.

I think he bought it from overseas and pretty sure it was Russian but I can ask him next time we're out hunting.
