Colt Woodsman, followed by Ruger MK II

It is a tough question for me.I have my target pistols and some that I use in the woods .I have taken more rattlesnakes and various critters with H&R revolvers. I have a H&R 999 Sportsman that is accurate enough and 100 per cent dependable. It is the top brake model that throws all 9 empty hulls out when you need to reload. For target shooting, I have a Browning Buckmark 5.5 bull barrel and my Dad,s Ruger 6 7/8 Target. I have a new Ruger Single Six Hunter with a 7.5 inch barrel that I have not broken in yet. I just bought an older H&R 929 that I will be carring around the woods and farm.I think they are all great guns. I like that High Standard in the picture too.

#1 R&G 6shot revolver (It was left to me by my Granddaddy about 20yrs ago. It's Priceless.) #2 Ruger Mark II #3 Ruger singlesix one in blue and one in stainless.

My CURRENT favorite is a Browning Buckmark.

i loved the buckmark for years but i picked up a Mark III this weekend at the gun show and have to say its growing on me, looks like it needs a tactical solutions Pac-Lite fluted threaded barrel and another set of grips though.

freeedom arms 10" barreled silhouette revolver is my favorite. it will shoot less than 1" at 100 yards all day with match ammo. allen

My most favorite 22 handgun is the first ever I owned. It is a H&R 949 and I have shot many a thousand rounds through it in the day. I seldom shoot it now as I have a Ruger MKIII and a couple S&W 422's and a Ruger Single Six hunter that are more accurate. Or is it I just don''t shoot the H&R much anymore? As I recall it used to make pretty good head shots on snakes.
