Southern Regional Revolver Championship in Thibodaux, LA was a great match

Several Mississippi Shooters participated in the 5th Annual Southern Regional Revolver Championship in Thibodaux, LA March 19-21, 2010, with 10 stages designed for ICORE revolver shooters and came home with awards and prizes. Cliff Cargill won 2nd place B-Class and 7th Overall in Limited Division, Scott Womack (me) won 1st place C-Class and 8th place Overall in Limited Division, and Corey Marsalis won 1st place D-Class. Seven Magnolia Revolver Shooters made the trip down south and all did well. Other shooters from Magnolia included, Bud Berthold, Pat Deberry, Ed Marsalis, Jr. and Ken Lawrence. Worlds fastest revolver shooter, Jerry Miculek was there and won Open Division outright crushing all the competition. All placed well and enjoyed the weekend with a crawfish boil on Friday night.

especially the crawfish...How do you folks get all this time off to shoot for 3 days?

My... we had a good time. I'm just now recovering.

Cliff shot well, as did the rest of the Mississippi crew. It was a really nice pretty day on Saturday, but Sunday was cold and blustery. Not a very good day to be shooting period.

Cliff had a small bit of a problem on one stage but stayed focused and shot the rest of the match well and made a very good showing.
