"Portable" bullet casting table

Used my portable bullet casting table provided by none other than Moderator bubbat. It' about 4 feet high and 3 ft x 4 ft

Cast some 44's using it yesterday....stable..no fatigue...Its the cat's meow....

44 Mags...

Then Captain-03 came over and we did a bunch of 38....sizing them to .358 right now...

Did a few 44 Mags today out of 5 part Range bullet and 1 part Linotype just for grins...

They sure were pretty and main they dropped good out of my RCBS mould....great looking Keith style bullet..I would not wanna get hit with one..

Where do you get your lead from?

From many sources...plumbers lead....linotype from printing presses

wheel weights

some pure lead from recycled range bullets see my bullet casting thread that has pics and you'll see the initial "refining" process

Bubba-t, the local "Current & Future Bullet Casters of America" need your help.....................

If we bullet casting veterans are going to show the new "pups" how to cast bullets, we need some mobile bullet casting & sizing tables........

For casting..... I suggest a 4' x 8' table that is 40" tall. For sizing..... I suggest a 3' x 8' (or 4" x 8") table that is 30" tall. Both tables are 8' wide so more than one caster/sizer can setup on. Also, I suggest both tables have 4x4 legs and a 3/4" plywood top (not partical board, but no need for cabinet grade plywood either).

Bubba-t, if you are willing to accept this challenge.... Magnolia will pay for the lumber. However, your labor cost will have to be offset by the knowledge you gain during the bullet casting demos at the range.

Sub- I can do it. For Neck's table I doubled up 3/4 plywood for the top. Let me know if you want to go that way. I will sketch something up and send it to you.
