Smith & Wesson M&P9c

Post by Subsonix on Thu Apr 08, 2010 2:35 am

I finally got a chance to run a few mags through my new M&P compact and my boss' Glock 19 today. I was worried I wouldn't like either one because I'm used to a DA/SA pistol and these things are advertised as DA only which I hate. (I dunno why since they are most certainly NOT a DA...)

I am head over heels in love with my new pistol! It's now my main carry piece and my beloved Star Ultrastar is finally able to retire to the safe after 14 years of use. I'm actually more accurate with the M&P than I am with my Star!

The M&P gets thumbs up The Glock was very nice as well, but after shooting both I'm glad I chose the S&W for my everyday carry. I was also suprised to find out it has a lifetime warranty!

I shot my 9c for the first time on Monday. It shot well w/o any problems. Out around 20 yards I could see it printing a little high left but I can live with that on a compact gun. It won't replace my Beretta Mini-Cougar for carry duty but is a might fine back up (or for the wife). That Cougar is DOA, which most people seem to hate, but I do alright with it.
