I like a Rossi. Would be great to practice if you have a 66 or 686 on the cheap. Never owned one in .22 but all my other Rossi's have been good, solid pistols. All revolvers and I don't even know if they make an auto.

It's been over 20 years, but I'm pretty sure that is the model I used to own. It is the size of the S&W 63 Kit gun (J frame), not the S&W 66 .357 (K frame). In other words, it's closer to a Model 36 or 60 than to a 66 or 19.

Having said that, the only problem I recall having was that I could never get the thing to zero at 25 yards. It shot about a foot high with every .22 cartridge I could find. That's why I got rid of it.

That looks like the one I used to have, except for the grips. I hope yours will zero properly. If so, you will really enjoy it. It is a great size revolver for a walkabout gun.
