Its BAD to carry like this....

Good luck with your "class project" But I think it will be hard to find much anti-gun information here

Sorry - I want touch that one ... matter of fact they would play hell trying to force me into debating a side of an issue that I consider to the unconstitutional. Guess I would get an F and then take it to the School Board.
On the flip-side, I might just do it and actually agree with the opposing view !!

Well, I suppose if one were a fan of despot leadership like Hitler and Karl Marx, one significant advantage of banning (not "banding") handguns would be that it would be much easier to enforce their totalitarian agenda on the citizens.
And, if one were a robber, banning handguns would make like simpler and safer while plying their chosen trade.
No one on this board will agree, but you will hear how banning handguns would prevent accidental shooting deaths [especially "the children"]. You will also hear how criminals would not be able to steal handguns to use in criminal activity if no one had a handgun.
Neither of these arguments are based upon real data. In fact, the opposite is true: Taking handguns away from law abiding citizens makes it easier for criminals to do their thing.
England tried it and it just does not work.
I understand that you need to make the argument in your debate class.
You probably should check the Brady Campaign or the Stop Handgun Violence web sites if you must present such arguments.

I am not sure about this. I have never tried to band handguns together. I have banded crates and parts, but never handguns. I usually carry them in a holster or a range bag. I suppose you could band them together, but fail to see the reason why.

I did a Google search of this user guys username, and it comes up on hundreds of forums all over the world. usually makes 3 posts, like he did here, and has a link to something in his signature bar or profile. Never responds to a post he made, just makes 3 posts and that is all.
