"giving"....? Captain, are you selling lead....? Smile

Mr. B in McComb knows the guy. Mr. B, please contact the guy in Lake Village to see what his best deals are on the different types of lead. It doesn't look like we can buy it all, but maybe with us buying 2000+lbs he will offer a discount.

.

Nope -- "giving" in this context means "paying" -- if the scrap dealers are paying .15lb for WWs then .55 is way, way too high!!

We already have enough verbal here to strip the guy clean....so there should be no problem....

Buying this much ought to get us a "deal" Beladran...use those marketing skills of yours and seal the deal...and lets GET R DONE before the trail gets cold....

I think the "best" deal possible would be to all pile up go down there with cash in hand chat with him a while and get him away from his dad lol if his brother is there a "gift" of some good 50ae bullets might mean he changes the weight scale numbers

I not gonna be able to go. I got to work Friday night, help my dad with his cows Saturday morning. Not sure when that will be over. Church Sunday morning, and a nap before work Sunday afternoon. My weekends are full for the next few weeks. But, if yall are coming thru Yazoo, yall could drop off some for me!

I agree. However, unless a small group of you guys can go "soon". If one (or more) of you has the truck & trailer and the time, go for it.

If you can get the lead cheap..... You should have no problem selling it in the Jackson area.

I would like to go, but it would not be until after M&G II........... Sad

If we need to go before the M&G, I could probably get away and go anytime on a weekday .. ..

Beladran I could probably make a run NEXT weekend...

How much weight we hauling....what kind of containers will it be in or will we need to bring some...I have a 14 ft single axle trailer...between it and my truck I could handle a couple thousand lbs... and could probably borrow a 18 ft tandem...all I got is a 1/2 ton truck and don't mind putiing it on the ground

weekdays are a NO GO....but if we are gonna get enough to make it worth my while I might take a day off

but we do need a "plan"

Main thing is don't let the trail get cold...maybe you could send him a "deposit" to hold it for us

Better get it quick. Pure lead ingots go for @2.19 a pound at Rotometals.com. I have about 120 pounds of pure. I add antimony and tin to make a hardball mix. 92 lbs lead, 6 lbs antimony and 2 lbs of tin. Brinnell hardness of 14 to 15.
