Are you talking next month...I'll try to be there. Haven't been to the matches yet. What can I bring? Marliin model 60, Ruger MkII, Heritage Rough Rider, J C Higgins/Marlin100 or the .22short Rohm I keep stashed away 'cause it wouldn't hit if I was inside the barn?

Magnolia in Byram beside the swinging bridge.
Its a steel challenge type set up so youll need a pistol.
Sunday May 9th
Help set up at 7:00AM and the match starts at 9:00 AM
Entry is free for your first match and $5.00 after that.
Usually 5 stages of 5 shots a stage run 5 times a piece
So 25 rounds per stage
Bring 200 rounds and there will be plenty of leftovers.
Dont forget eye and ear protection
Come and shoot with us!!

Its not bad. Gonna take a bit to get used to it. But I think it is a good sight. It should be a fast target acquisition with it also, once I get used to it and get more practice with it.

I ain't afraid to say I'm scared...or maybe just smart enough to do what my wife tells me to. Thirty years of living with her has taught me some hard lessons. Now when she says I have plans, I have plans.
I'll try again in June.

From seeing your finish in the last match I was in I'm kinda glad your running centerfire and we won't be classified the same!

Re: Rimfire Shooters??
Read the rules on rimfire and don't see anything on requirements for firearms. From that, I'm guess about any Ruger Mark or Browning Buckmaster is OK?
Course I won't be able to buy a rimfire pistol before July 11 but may come out there and watch ya'll. Ain't nobody shooting them $1k European pistols or getting a Ruger and having a new barrel and trigger job on it are there. I want to compete, mostly with myself, but would like to be able to compare myself to the other shooters in my class.
How many mags you need? From what I gathered in Cliff's sticky on the rules, rimfires don't require a holster or did I read that wrong? Where are the mag holders kept, in mag potches on the speed belts or just in your pocket? All .22 standard target ammo ok? If anyone answers all these questions, they have my gratitude in advance.
