So has anyone seen these. Who has handled or shot one. I know we got alot of 1911 fans here. Lets hear what you got to say. Good, bad, or indifferent. I'll even throw in a link for those who dont know GOOGLE.

I've fondled one in a gun shop. Actually, I think it was at Scrugg's. Seemed like a nice weapon! Very light! Slick little gun!

they got one at academy in jackson. it is VERY light...

im not a fan of it. i like compact 1911s, but this one just doesnt give me a warm and fuzzy... the abscense of sights is a BIG turnoff for me!

I own one it has a full size 1911 frame nickel plated and in my opinion is one heck of a handgun had problems finding ammo at first/solved that problem. now looking for another one this one is in to good condition to be dragged through mud and briars looking for hawgs. anyone out there doubting the gun probally was using +P ammo.

I agree. Buy an older Colt 1911 or Commander. My friend bought a new Colt 1911 and it would not drop the hammer, right out of the box. The disconnector part of the sear spring was too short. I replaced it with a GI spring and it worked fine. Also, you could see the mould lines on the hammer and grip safety. They never buffed them off. Also, the mainspring housing and trigger are PLASTIC, what an abomination for an $800 handgun. Quality means nothing to the gun makers, just the bottom line.

Haven't seen the New Agent, but did get to handle an Agent that Ken was carrying when we did one of our gun deals. Lack of sights didn't bother me since I never used the ones on a Combat commander I used to own.
Tried to buy that one before he move to NM, but bought 2 guns from him that day and was short on cash. Sad
