Just wondrin. Smile

I am saving for a 1911. I just HAVE to have one. But I have decided to wait until I can get the TRP or equal. Just can't justify spending 600 for a base model when I'm halfway to the TRP.

That of course is after handling the SA and RIA side by side. Up till today had never done so...I will own a RIA as hell raising yard gun but I have to have that SA>>>>

Yeah, his is a "Pimped out" version of the Sig 1911, though. They started out a little rough in the 1911's, from what I've read, but word is that once they got that settled, the new Sig 1911's run like a sewing machine, virtually no issues. No idea if it's true.

Here's a better representation of their "stock" stuff:

Re RIA 1911’s

Terrible Picture. See comments below

Go over to the topic, “Different 1911’s” in this Handgun forum.

On 2/1410 I wrote, “Have an RIA 1911-A1 CS, with a 3.5" bushingless bull barrel. One fine pistol and will not break the bank. Am completely satisfied. Outshoots a Khar T9, 9mm."

Then drop down to my post dated 3/3/10 and please excuse my typing.

PS – Have replaced the Khar T9 with an STI Guardian 9mm. Look at the posts in “9mm 1911’s”, 3/27/10, 3/28/10, 4/1/10, etc.
