Any plans to make up the M-1 Carbine Match?
I saw on the other thread that the carbine match got rained out. Any plans to make it up?
I've got mine back together and fairly well cleaned, just have to restake the rear sight and test fire it a bit some time this week. One thing I noticed: You can't use a regular size centerpunch to restake it; not enough room. I bought a small (3/32") pin punch that I'm going to grind a point on to do the staking job. The shank of it is skinny enough to get into the proper position for restaking.

I'm thinking of combining the Carbine match with the Garand match on May 22nd. We'll have the Garand match first and then reset the targets at 100 yards and have the Carbine match. I'm going to get with SGF and see if this will work.
