Lebel 1886 - 93

Just got a real nice one, came with the bolt out, what is the trick to put it back??

I could do it for you but I can't describe how to. I'll try anyway. Remove the screw that holds the bolt head in the bolt. Pull the bolt head out of the bolt. Insert the bolt head and turn it horizontally. Slide in the bolt body and push it over the back of the bolt head. Re-install screw.

ThANKS, A BUDDY OF MINE CALLED AND EXPLAINED IT. THIS HAS A 1920 NEW BARREL ON IT, I'M PRETTY IMPRESSED

Looks like I will have to disassemble the weapon, it is full of grease, but seems well made, magazine tube seems stuck, but most likely hardened grease. The bore is mirror new. I have the dies and brass coming. Looks like it will be fun to shoot.

I have ordered dies, brass and cast bullets. I'm really looking forward to shooting it, after I get around to cleaning it first. Have to sell a few more knives so I can play some more. ( first I have to make them)

Dies have arrived, The more I look at it the more it makes you wonder what kind of sensation these things brought on the battlefield the first time they were used, all in all it is a nice piece of engineering work.
