It came today!

My firearms permit is in my wallet. Now I have to get use to carrying, should have been doing that around the house. Finding what works and feels the best.

Yeah I thought about it long and hard before I ever applied. I've always been the resposible one and very cool headed.

Good idea to seriously consider what and how to carry...
Carrying around the house also highly recommended...gets your body used to it.

Carrying around the house never helped me. Being around people that I do not know was the uncomfortable part for me. But, I have gotten used to it, maybe even comfortable with it. When you look at yourself in the mirror, your gun is going to print and it will seem like a lot of printing. But, I have not been "made" in public, even my wife or children have not said anything!

I'm going to try it but if I don't feel comfortable or it doesn't hide real well I'll go smaller.

Go walk around walmart. That was the first place I went and it does take some getting use to. Congrats and how many days did it take? I know you counted them.

I applied March 16th so about 36 business days give or take a couple holidays.

congrats, now you have the government's permission to exercise a god given right - or at least part of it. Man, if the government were't there to correct god then I don't know where we'd be.
