IHOP Anyone?

IHOP Anyone?
I took the family to IHOP (Tupelo) for breakfast this morning and I saw a gentleman sitting at a table adjacent to ours whose firearm was printing against his shirt rather plainly, at first I thought I was just imagining things since I always try and "make" people who carry but when he stood up he did the thing with his shirt tail that we all do (tugged at it to be sure his shirt wasnt being held up by his gun thus revealing it to everyone in IHOP) and was still printing then I knew. I almost said something to him but I'm not sure how to approach someone about that in a public place, if he had been alone on an aisle in the grocery store it would have been different.
I gotta give it to him for carrying with just a tshirt, which is something I think I'm going to start doing because not only do I look silly in Hawiian shirts since they dont really fit my personality but they kinda scream "I'm carrying a firearm"...and I'm a jeans & tshirt kinda guy anyway.
So... which one of you guys was it?

I think I may need to get larger tshirts before I go carrying with just a tshirt since all mine fit and arent very loose.
I'm sorry to hear that you had to endure Barnes Crossing today

Wasn't bad! I'm on graveyard, so I wanted to spend time with the family and that is where they chose to go. I did find the mulch kit for my lawnmower for 50% off!

Probably good you did not approach, what if he was not licensed and not exactly a law abiding citizen? Could have taken you for LEO and turned your family outing into a news headline. Good observation skills though.
I'm really glad I've joined this site. I am awaiting my permit and learn something each time I read this forum. Thanks to all of you who post and reply on here. I can benefit from those of you who have been carrying for years.

Agreed, I'd have left him alone. I caught a guy printing heavily one day in Sam's Club, had to double and triple take to be sure of what I was seeing. He seemed like he just didn't care. Lesson for me? Don't wear tight tee shirts when carrying.

I try to be cautious that I don't print but I carry all the time in only a tshirt. I prefer it. But I carry a SLIM pistol too.

I think most people are too engrossed in themselves to ever notice a SLIGHT bulge or sharp edge on someone's side. I am very conscientious of my weapon, and probably my biggest tell is checking my shirt tail.

We notice such things because we look for it and know what to look for. 90% of people would never see it or not know what they are looking at if they did see it. And the only people that would notice the shirt tail thing is another carrier.

Did you have the shirts made cap? Or can they be bought somewhere?

Will a couple group/board orders. Currenly there are no more available until we order again. Just watch the board and it will be posted when we are ready to order again ...

I guess as long as it's concealed, it don't matter. I didn't see anything in the law about printing. BUT, I make sure mine doesn't print. Don't want anyone to know I'm carrying, or scare someone.

Some might consider printing the same as brandishing. I don't, and probably noone on this board does, but some extremists see them as the same.
