And while it's no AI, this little 'ol gun is not a bad shooter and I "might" just be able to put my hands on one of them. lol

It is!! The AR-30 which comes chambered in .308, .338LM and my personal favorite, the .300 Winnie!! big thumb up
It's just the angle of the photo that makes it look short. It has a 26" barrel.

It's an awesome caliber but I think my next big boomer will be the .338 LM, just because I want one. After all, they do say variety is key. Very Happy

And to get back on topic, that is incredible shooting. The hardware is really not as big a part of this as the marksman. My dad shot for the Army's Exhibition Teams for years back in the 50's-60's time and they didn't have the kind of equipment that folks do today. But regardless of the equipment, this was fine marksmanship!

Well, the old ideas of americans being the best shots seem to have become moot. I guess the Canadians and Britts are showing us the results of what excessive Xbox use can do for you. Ours boys better be putting in some xtra range time if they don't expect to remain third loser to our cousins to the north and east.

Its funny that you bring up the XBox. Most of our long range shots are handled by drones now. Tough to get orders to shoot. They radio in and a drone sends a bomb. That is not as cool as a long sniper shot but more effective. You never here about how many long shots get missed. The drone has them on FLIR and can watch them achieve room temp.
