S&W AR-15 and Brown Bear ammo - range report

S&W AR-15, 16" barrel, shooting good with Brown Bear 52gr HP ammo at 2909fps five shot group at 100yds and the squares are 9/10" not 1" squares. I fired one right after the other as quick as I could acquire my target in the scope. The group at 200yds was about twice this size. The Burris Ballistic Plex mark for 200yds was right on at 200yds and I was sighted in at 3/4 inch high at 100yds.

Proof that Brown Bear steel case ammo is pretty accurate!

I don't shoot steel case ammo in my AR's but my AK's love the Brown Bear ammo and I prefer it to Wolf

I love the Brown Bear. Always goes bang, accurate, cleaner than Wolf, and a price you can't argue with.

I saw a pile of it at Gander Mountain, but they are waaaaaay too overpriced.

Ammunitiontogo.com has 1000rds 62 grain hollow points @$223.95. The FMJs are a little higher @$254.95. I usually get it from them. They ship fast.

Oops sorry it was Silver Bear!!! Same company though. MArlin Camp 9 and Highpoint 9 Carbine. Bullets got stuck in the barrels. I sent them back to there manufacturers Got a Brand New Highpoint and a new barrel on the Camp 9! No Charge
