Need to renew my CCW. Where do i do it?

I'm not slow or anything , but I can not find it here. There used to be a link of where to go to renew online. Somebody cleans house too much on this site. I have been to 1 website and there was no mention of such a thing.

Can someone tell me where to go to renew online?

Didn't know you could even renew online. The only thing I could find was this.

There is a section in this that states:


(12) (a) The licensee must renew his license on or before the expiration date by filing with the department
the renewal form, a notarized affidavit stating that the licensee remains qualified pursuant to the criteria specified
in subsection (2) and (3) of this section, and a full set of fingerprints administered by the Department of Public
Safety or the sheriff of the county of residem~e of the licensee.
The first renewal may be processed by mail and the subsequent renewal must be made in person. Thereafter
every other renewal may be processed by mail to assure that the applicant must appear in person every ten (l0)
years for the purpose of obtaining a new photograph .

You did'nt get your renewal package in the mail?

How much does it cost to get an Individual Firearm Permit?
The fee for a first time Individual Firearm Permit is $132.00. The permit is valid for five (5) years. About 90 days prior to the permit's expiration date, a renewal package is sent to the permit holder. The renewal fee is $82.00. There is a $15 late fee for expired permits. A permit expired for 6 months or more is deemed permanently expired and the permit holder must reapply.

It says you can renew online everyother time, but no direction where to do it. Do you hafta submit new fingerprints as well?
It seems that the best thing to do is just go on to the MHP Substation for DL Renewal in D'Iberville (for you) and renew it before it is expired. They'll probably throw on some kind of "stupid tax " if it gets expired like the drivers license.
If it has to do with State or Govt. its always a PIA you know that.

I think the finger printing is every other time also.

may be, but somebody needs to clarify the info on how to go about doing it. Their website has nothing about doint it. I just dunno. I'll keep looking, but i have just about read every page on the site.

I called the MS Dept of Public Safety (Firearms Permit Unit) and they said you cannot renew gun permits online. You get your renewal package in the mail and mail it back and don't have to be finger printed but every other time. They said you can go to the office and renew it but you would have to be finger printed every time. Either way the fee is the same $82. There is a $15 late fee for expired permits.
