Kudos to the staff and membership here!

I haven't been around here long, but just wanted to take a minute to say "I'm impressed with all of you!". Don't know how, but this board is run the way a message board should be. I've made some good friends and hope they feel the same way. I don't know much about guns and I'm sure I've asked some really stupid questions. Probably had some opinions that were out there, as well, but I've never felt I was talked down to in any way. That, my friends, is a refreshing change in this internet world. I appreciate each and every one of you, whether we've exchanged views or not. I've carefully read what you had to say and enjoyed the learning experience, whether you realized it or not. There is an awful lot of knowledge here. Additionally, I get to live vicariously through you folks by drooling over some of your collections. I don't know where I've seen so many quality guns in my life. You know, us gun folks get a bad wrap a lot of places, but they just don't understand, do they? We're not weirdos that dream of shooting some perpetrator someday. We're only citizens who don't intend to be willing victims. Let me say this, if I'm ever in a situation where the SHTF, I'd be proud to know any of you were around. Not because you'd have my back, but because I know you'd be responsible. Think about that, because it's quite a statement.

I hate to say this, but the moderators here have an easy job. Not because they're not needed, but because they taught this group that a bunch of BS wasn't welcome or to be tolerated. I used to moderate a couple of computer forums and I can tell you that doesn't come easy. Moderators here seem to be involved enough, but not so much that members can't express their viewpoints in a respectful manner. Additionally, they seem very respectful of the members. I think that may be the key to a good board.

About all I can say is I'm proud to be a member of this group and hope everyone keeps up the good work.

The reason this board is so successful and accepting is the caliber of our membership. There are many here who are eager to help others out, even on competition related stuff! They help other members that they could be competing against !! The staff does have it easy here, simply because our members know how to behave and conduct themselves in a civil and respectful manner. For that I say a big THANKS!!!

Hrdnox it's people like you that makes this board what it is. Kudos to you sir.
