No more glock...

Post by remgirl on Tue Jul 13, 2010 12:31 pm

Sorry my glock fan buddies. I tried out the XD and the glock again and ergonomically I prefer the feel of the XD. The mag release is also on the right side for me being left handed. Also I like what you get with the XD. Its all good thumbs up

I like it better! It doesn't matter the name on the slide as long as it functions and fits!

Sorry for your change of mind, but you'll be back sooner or later, just remember that. Your choice could have been worse though.
XD would be my second choice. So when is the purchase now?

Not sure.

Big thing I love about the XD is the mag release is on both sides with me being left handed it helps a lot. Also I like the way it feels. I do love glocks too but its a pity they dont have that.

+1 on that.Smile

You'll enjoy the XD, though, Remgirl. The XDs feel good in my hands, as well, and I would imagine the ambedextrious controls would be a big plus for a lefty. To be honest, even though I only own Glocks, the XDs impress me with being a better engineered gun. Glocks are simple, but effective, but SA takes that concept to the next level. Worlds of difference in the mechanisms. IMHO, two of the finest plastic guns built. Hope you get years of enjoyment from yours.Smile

You're getting what you want and what fits you, and that is the good thing.

Its the feel of the XD and the ambedextrious controls that suit me to a tea. Glock doesn't have that which is a pity.
