No more glock...

all that's out right now is the 17 & 22 Gen4's
They have them at Academy down here. $50bucks higher than Gen3's

Gen 4 19 were released last week in limited numbers. You can find them online. Hopefully local dealers will be getting them soon.

Whats so different about them?

interchangeable backstraps, ambi mag release, dual-captured guide rod. to name a few.
I prefer the Gen3 over the Gen4 in feel. I have not shot the Gen4,so I can't comment on that.

Ambi releases are good.

no package, but every store you look in or online gun source or catalog has stuff for Glock. Holsters, there are hundreds available literally and mag pouches are 20 - 30 bucks depending on what you want.

Prices around here are around 5 for Gen3's and a little higher for Gen4's.

I wouldn't want to get use to an ambi-safety b/c what if you had to shoot another gun someday and it didn't have it. Once you learn the controls and where they are, it will be natural. JMO.

Ambi releases are good.

the new gen4 mag releases has a bigger button so it's easier to push and reach with your thumb.

I also prefer the XD in my hand over the glock. but I like the glock also thats why i got both
