I love the belt that I bought from Mid South Uniform on Terry Road in Jackson. It's a Don Huma, reinforced leather. Looks OK to wear as casual, but not dressy enough to wear with a suit!

Being a shrinking fat man, I've been through a few belts this year. The first one isn't much worth mentioning, just a plain thin leather that sorta held my pants up. Starting losing weight and carrying, so it was time to upgrade the belt. I got a 1.75 inch tall, 1/4 or more thick belt from Cabela's. Awesome belt, but tough to adjust and it cut badly into the spare tire while driving. (I spend half of most days behind the wheel). Ordered a Galco 1.5 inch belt, and bought a 5.11 TDU belt waiting on the Galco to come in. 5.11 TDU is great, until the fat man bends, then it loosens. Comfy for a car ride, but a PITA to tighten it each time. The Galco is very comfy, and plenty stiff enough for carry, but by that time I had lost enough weight that my pants all had too much material to stay under the leather belt, so I was off in search of new pants, or another belt. I opted for the 5.11 Operator belt, which is similar to the Wilderness belt. I've had it about two weeks, and am extremely pleased with it. It is great for someone kinda squishy in the middle like me, since its infinitely adjustable. Its very secure, my carry gun doesn't make it droop at all, so I've been OWB carrying more and in the bag carrying less. It's okay for jeans and a tucked polo, but not dressy enough for anything less casual than that. The only reason I tried 5.11 instead of similar belts is that there's a local 5.11 dealer, so I didn't have to wait for shipping. Not to brag, but I went from over 300 pounds in January to 255 at the last doc visit a month ago. I'm still plenty round, but look and feel tons better.

Recently ordered a Cobra Everyday Carry Belt on the recommendation of a friend, can't wait to get it. They seem like great belts and they look pretty cool too. Here's a link what I got if anyone is interested.

Jones Tactical belts look great, but their wait time is 7 weeks. Why not go with Endeavor Stitch Works, and wait maybe a week and pay less.

I have one of his 1.5" Cobra Gun belts and love it. Here is a review of that belt by our own JS_280.

Got my new real man's belt in today by simply rugged. Looks real nice!

Not quite as thick as my Beltman belt though, but as long as it supports my 1911s and comparable sized guns I don't care

The simply rugged is on the bottom
