Rimfire bolt action

Post by Xd357 on Tue Jul 20, 2010 11:00 am

I was at basspro last night and held a marlin in the .17 cal.
http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/17HMRMagnum/917VS.asp

I love the feel of this gun but want it in a .22lr. Guess what they don't make a .22lr with the 22" heavy barrel. yell

Anyway what kind of rimfire bolt guns do y'all have and how do you like them?

Pics are always welcome.

i had a winchester wildcar varmint in 22LR. EXCELLENT gun despite all the naysayers about it being russian made, etc...

quality is quality, and it is a nice shooting, accurate 22!!

i wouldnt have any qualms about owning another one.

i want a 22 mag, or 17hmr, so i will be buying a savage soon...

I'm looking a pawn shop if that tells you anything. Lol

$200 max, I might have to get a .22mag.

I have two .22LR bolt guns with heavy barrels and I love both of them. One is the Winchester Wildcat Varmint and the other is a Savage Mark II. Both are well built and excellent shooters. I liked the Wildcat so much for the price that I bought my brother one last Christmas and it has become his favorite 22.

I have a Remington Model 511-P. It is a bolt action box magazine rifle with peep sights. If you want a GOOD .22 bolt rifle, look at the CZ models.

Just a thought someone needs to make a hicap mag for these bolt guns. At least a 20 round double stack mag.
