Was in Great Southern Firearms in Pearl today and they had a Gen 2 Glock 23 for $380 tax and all. It had the box and 1 mag. Well used but the first Glock I've seen for less than $400 in a long time.

Palmetto State Armory has their premium Bolt Carrier Groups on sale for $99.99. I have no experience with these, but I often see them compared to higher end BCGs such as Colt, LMT and Noveske.

Just bought a brand new 7mm 08 browning abolt stalker from bonds sport shop in new Albany. They had three or four more in .308 and 30-06 for $499 plus tax. Best price on a new browning that I've seen in a while.

Gunsafe Deal Perkinson

Post by PCWW on Sat Jan 28, 2012 4:40 pm

Just saw this on Craigslist. Do not know the folks but they appear to be legit since they are a Cannon dealer. 19s for $579 which is a great price. http://neworleans.craigslist.org/spo/2798640024.html . Please post if you have had any dealings with these guys. I am probably going to give them a look.

Cheap Ammo

Post by newto228 on Sat Feb 04, 2012 10:57 pm

I had to pass this along, found a place for .40 S&W ammo (reloads) for $212 shipped for 1000 rounds. They also have 9MM and .45 Auto at this time. The .40 is FP, 9MM is RN and the .45 comes in RN and JHP. Neat husband and wife operation, thought I would pass it along. :

AR-15 for under $520

Post by TWTUnionMS on Wed Feb 08, 2012 11:30 pm

I did some research on building an affordable M4 rifle. After paying $1200 and some change for a Remington R-15 and not wanting to break the bank, I started looking in to building one. Well I got the price down a lot, but still wasn't satisfied. I stumbled across www.tacticalammunition.com that sells uppers to your specific requirements (includes bolt/carrier and charging handle). The basic M4 upper on that site is $370 + $17.88 shipping. For a few dollars more you can get a quad-rail. I also knew of the Plumcrazy lowers, and thought i'd give them a shot. For $119.95 at www.joeboboutfitters.com and free shipping, I took a chance. JoeBobOutfitters sells the New Frontier Armory LW-15 lower for $99.95 (same lowers as the plumcrazy c-15). Add whatever your local FFL Fee and your set. Put over 200 rds through it and have nothing but good to say about the upper and lower i bought. Overall i think i did pretty good making a M4 for a lot less than you can get elsewhere (the CDNN price for the M&P is a great price also).

$512.83 For the basic M4 upper with standard M4 Handguards, 16" heavy barrel, utg quadrail gas block, bolt/carrier and charging handle.
This included shipping on the upper and the $25 FFL Fee on the New Frontier Armory LW-15 lower.

If you get the plumcrazy lower it will be $30 more...

Doomsday preppers click here

Post by Rebel Rifle Ordnance on Wed Feb 15, 2012 5:25 pm

I have for consideration a large quantity of 155 MM howitzer tubes, M231 tubes and for the retro types 155 mm dated 1953 / 54. I'm selling these for $15 each or $10 if you buy three or more. They are excellent to store ammo, weapors or whatever else. They have purge valves so you could fill these with nitrogen for extra long storage. Other ideas are for time capsules or whatever else you can imagine. I briefly thought about mounting them on my jeep somehow but have yet to do so. This is for LOCAL pick up only, Ellisville, MS. Sorry but I'm not going to travel to meet anyone with these. I'm located in Ellisville. If you are in to quantity, you name the amount and I can supply.

Not gun related but Academy Sports has Carhartt half off. Didn't find what I went for but picked up a nice jacket and shirt half-price. Very Happy

For my fellow Ar15 reloaders, Wideners just got some 844 in stock. Almost like 335 just a little hotter. $85 for 8lbs.
