My new HD
I recently traded my brother this

For this

This is going to be my new HD gun. It will replace my 1100. Although this gun is good to go the way it is I can't leave anything alone. I'm gonna replace the stock with a blackhawk stock (formerly knoxx) because the length of pull on the original stock is too long for me. I went with the non recoil reducing one because it will not be shot that often, and of course because it was cheaper. The forearm will be replace with one with a picatinny rail on the bottom and a magpul angled grip attached. I don't know how this will look or function yet, but will see. I will post a "after" pic when everything is installed. Also I will be getting a light on this thing when the money is right.

Re: My new HD
The older I get the more I appreciate less recoil. It's a nice shotgun as is to be sure. I know shooting it with high powered slugs and buckshot I'd want the comp stock or at least a Limbsaver on it, but that's me. I'm not sure on the utility of the offset grip for the forend, but again it would just feel unatural to me. Since it's not my Shotgun none of that matters. Just an opinion. Let me know how that forend works for you.

You guys got me wishing I had sprung for the recoild reducing stock. I wonder if you can put some kind of recoil pad on the cheap one. I guess one for an AR collapsible stock might work. Anyway I will probably just shoot bird shot in it mainly, to learn the gun. I'm used to an auto shotgun, but want the reliablity of the pump for HD.

Limbsaver probably makes one to fit it.

Ok I got it together today, so far I like it. I haven't fired it yet so my mind could change, but I do like the way it looks.
