Leupold scope question

Post by possum398 on Fri Aug 13, 2010 7:32 am

I just bought a Leupold 6.5-20x50 LR scope for my 25-06. My question is will the Leupold have enough adjustment to get out to 600yd, or do I need a 20moa base?

If it dont have enough for 600 we got a problem!!

you should be fine,, but you can always get a 20moa base,, might need it for that long 1500yd sight in Very Happy

I just keep hearing stories of the 20moa bases not being able to sight in at short distances. Most of my rifles stay sighted in at 200yds. But I would like to try 600yd F-class with this one. Maybe even a p-dog hunt in the future.

either is fine. I have 20moa niteforce rings and bases on my 300 and have a 100 yard zero on it. if you think you will be doing some really long range shooting in the future go ahead and get the 20moa. At 600 yards you will be fine with regular, that luepold has enough internal elevation adjustments.
