8/14/10 Hi-Power Match Results & Pictures....
First, I want to say to all that shot today (and to all that shot in the past and will in the future), that we ALL owe M1GarandFan (Johnny) a big THANK YOU for working his butt off to put on these matches. Yes, he gets help, but the people helping vary from month to month. M1GarandFan works EVERY month (match day). I have helped in the past and will in the future, but today I did very little to help except score some targets. Don't forget to show up early and help Johnny setup, and stay late to help tear down and stow the equipment.
Now for the match results...............................

NOTE: Match results pending M1GarandFan's verification.
Mr. Wood not only KICKED OUR BUTTS today, he showed up early and cut the grass on the firing line. MANY thanks ! ! !
Now for some pictures......................

The firing line for Relay 1. 8 in Relay 1 and 4 in Relay 2.

Today I shot my AR Shortie just for the fun of it. With the HOT & MUGGY weather, I just went to have fun (and do a little work for Magnolia after the match).

My little spot today showing the targets.

PhillipM did make it to the match today. And was First in Garand with his Winchester Garand.

PhillipM trying to find those tiny black dots downrange.........

PhillipM shooting the Standing part of the match.

While he was sending a 150gr projo downrange, I caught a piece of his brass in flight.........
And finally.................

Captain daydreaming about when he is going to start HP shooting.....................
Hope you guys enjoyed my report. Come out and try at least one HP match. Why shoot those "sissy pistols" when you can shoot a BATTLE RIFLE....?

Glad to do it, Dan. These matches are a LOT of fun. The scores are correct and I will pass them around. Really looking forward to September when we have 3 Saturday shoots in a row

Yes, thanks a ton Johnny, sorry I couldn't stay to take down after the 2d relay. Nice photos, the one of the targets downrange really shows the humidity hanging in the air that morning.
