Class III Firearms

Post by crazyace85 on Tue Aug 17, 2010 2:16 pm

Are there any class 3/manchine guns out there that won't break the bank. I just want something to take to the range and throw lead. Doesn't matter caliber or anything.

Cheapest thing out there is a mac 10, ive seen new in the box ones in shotgun news for about $3500. So depending on tranfer fees and of course the tax stamp youd probably be out about $4k. Most all ranges though dont allow full auto fire.

It's rapidly becoming a buyer's market on title two weapons. Here's a nice C&R Smith & Wesson 76 for 5K. This gun will transfer directly to an individual with a C&R licence. No dealer required and mags for this 9mm subgun are cheap and plentiful.

what about those full auto 22's? they got the drum clip on top that holds 200+ rounds of ammo.. how bad do they hurt the pocket book?

The original AM-180 (American 180) will cost in the $10K range. If you have (or want to buy for about $10K) an M16 lower, then you could buy an "AM-15" upper for the M16.

Check out this video of the AM-15.

Hey, I know that gun, upper and shooter! The M-16 isn't one dimensional like so many other guns. I love the wide variety of calibers I can shoot.

The MACs are usually in the $2.5 to $3.5k range and are the most affordable MG on the market. M45, S&W 76 & MK760 types will usually run from $3.5 to $6.5k. UZIs run $5.5 to $7.5k and some will top that. Ruger AC-556s about $5k to $8.5k. M-16 RR (registered receiver) conversions start around $10k , a registered DIAS (drop in auto sear) for either a AR-15 or HK are usually over $11k and .22 MGs are most all well over $8k now, at least the more popular ones such as the AM-180 and Ruger 10-22 converions. Belt-feds start at around $15k and go up from there. On a positive note MG prices are currently lower than they've been in quite a few years, it's definitely a buyer's market. The AM-15 .22 conversion upper for an M-16 will eat up most of a $2k bankroll, but it's worth every cent!
