Remington SUPER CELL Recoil Pad on Rem 700....AWESOME!!!!

I put a Rem. SuperCell recoil pad on my ol' Rem 700 in 7mmRemMag.....and finally got to shoot it today.....

With the original pad, I would pray that I got the gun sighted in with less than 5 shots...mule kicks that left evidenciary bruises on the shoulder....

Today, I sighted a new scope on it in 4 rounds, then went ahead and shot the rest of the box - all 20 rounds of Rem. CoreLokt 150 gr. - No mule, and no bruise!!!! Still shooting 1" MOA with last 4 round group with somewhat hot barrel (I took a break every 4 rounds and shot my 22 pistol for bbl cooling). This baby's 3 yrs. overdue and ready for a deer or hog killin' this year!

I would definetely have to give the SuperCell recoil pad a AAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ Rating.

A suppressor will work great as well.

Joe, I was gonna say the same thing about my savages - they are such soft shooters now, I can't see changing out the recoil pads on them.... My 300wsm is much softer shooting than other guns (Rem and Browning) I've shot in 7mm and 30-06....

Try a LIMBSAVER! That is or was what Remigton was using on theirs.

i took my Shrewd brake off my 300wm for Fclass, and shot 47 rounds.. No buise, but that pig is kinda heavy.
My 270 on the other hand,, it hurts after awhile.
Cant wait for the suppressor, it helps with recoil alot. Almost the same with the shrewd brake vs YHM Phantom Can.

J&G has some police trade-in 700'sin 308 for $900 if your looking for one. I just saw the ad, can't vouch if tat's a good price or anything else. Just FYI.

I'm using the Shooter's Friend on all my centerfire Sharps rifles. Shooting a 75-round match with a 45-90 pushing out 535-grain bullets wouldn't be possible without it. I tried the Limbsaver first, and the Shooter's Friend beats it hands down.

The only drawback is it's ugly as sin.
