Old Gun Enthusiast, New Member!

Hi everyone! Wish I had found this site years ago... I have a lot of catching up to do!
I'm a former LE officer and Air National Guardsman who been shooting since I could hold a firearm, but I'm not a hunter. My one brother got ALL that instinct. Here lately I've been interested in building my (very small) collection, and involving my family more in defensive shooting. I've never been very politically involved until recently, so I'm also a new member of the NRA. Yay NRA!! I think Sarah Palin was my inspiration for that. lol
Maybe I'll meet some of you at the Friends of NRA Banquet at the Jackson Trade Mart September 16th?
